Baked Masala Asparagus

Choose Organic ingredients whenever possible.

Serves: 2

Ingredients: (Visit English – Tamil – Hindi translation/ஆங்கிலம்-தமிழ் மொழி பெயர்பு)

  • Cut Asparagus – 4 cups
  • Finely chopped curry leaves – 1 tbsp
  • Homemade Masala Powder – 2 tsp (or to taste)
  • Turmeric Powder – 1/8 tsp
  • Asafoetida – a pinch
  • Ghee – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – to taste

Get Started:

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Grease an oven-safe glass baking tray or line a baking tray with unbleached parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well.
  • Spread it on the baking tray without over-crowding.
  • Toss in between for even baking.
  • Bake till the veggies are nicely cooked.Simple Meal

We enjoyed it with Phulka, Rice, & Strawberry Dhal Tadka.
