Peas Fritters/பட்டாணி வடை

Spicy Peas Fritters/பட்டாணி கார வடை:

Ingredients : (Visit English – Tamil – Hindi translation/ஆங்கிலம்-தமிழ் மொழி பெயர்பு)

  • Green Peas – 1 cup (boiled and mashed)
  • Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Rice flour – 3 tbsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Oil – for deep frying

Get Started:

  • Mix mashed green peas, black pepper powder, salt, rice flour and little water to make it as a thick dough.
  • Take medium sized balls and flatten it into a shape of vadai.
  • Make a hole in the middle and drop it in hot oil.
  • Fry till it turns golden brown on both sides. Optionally bake it in oven on 350F(I prefer baking).

Note:

  • Enjoy these fritters occasionally in moderation.
